A small ladies bureau in the Queen Anne Revival style, probably circa 1930s.  It has slim cabriole legs with hand carving on the legs and lower part of the bureau. There are two spacious drawers and writing slope with leather inset. The paint is Annie Sloan Emperor’s Silk finished with white wax to give an aged but soft finish.  The interior is Chicago Grey with details in Emperor’s Silk.  The handles have been cleaned and polished, the lock is not in working order but has a skeleton key with a matching key tassel.  The front is stencilled in a modern tree design, echoed on the leather inset of the writing slope.

Finished with 2 coats of white wax and buffed to a light sheen

As with all vintage items it will have some signs of age, nothing to detract from the piece but please don't expect it to be like new. Expect personality and character and not an item that has been mass produced or spray painted.
