Cabinet No.18 - £145 - Sold

A small reproduction glass cabinet in the Edwardian style, ideal as a gin/cocktail cabinet.  It is glazed on three sides and is bow fronted.  There is a geometric design cut into the front panel and it sits neatly on cabriole legs.  The two glass shelves are removable, but their height is fixed.

Overall, it was in very good condition prior to painting, the door is lockable with the original key.  The back panel has been hand stencilled in gold acrylic and the gold key tassel is the finishing touch.  The paint is Annie Sloan Oxford Navy in exaggerated brush strokes coated with 2 coats of clear wax and a final coat of dark wax to add depth and age.

As with all vintage items it will have some signs of age, nothing to detract from the piece but please don't expect it to be like new. Expect personality and character and not an item that has been mass produced or spray painted.
