This vintage drinks cabinet has been brought up to date using Annie Sloan Paint in Athenian Black with Primer Red inside and copper highlights, adding a touch of glamour.  Prior to painting the condition was sound but looking a bit neglected and sad.  The brush strokes are exaggerated and highlighted with wax buffed to a soft sheen.

The cabinet has two sections both with shelves for all your glasses and bottles.  The upper interior is mirrored at the back and the shelf is new toughened glass.  The interior of the upper compartment doors are stencilled with a damask design in copper.  There is a handy pull-out shelf which is perfect for preparing your cocktails and there is a drawer underneath - the drawer is a tight fit, so the sides have been stencilled rather than painted. The brass handles on the faux drawers have been cleaned but left with some patina in keeping with the style.  The locks are not in working order, but the keys act well as handles.

As with all vintage items it will have some signs of age, nothing to detract from the piece but please don't expect it to be like new. Expect personality and character and not an item that has been mass produced or spray painted.
